Make an artwork for the Art Route

Festival Voor de Vloed is looking for artists to take part in the Art Route 2026. You choose a statue to decorate yourself — or another location within the festival area — with an installation, sculpture or other visual artwork, on show throughout the historic centre of Dordrecht.

Conditions

Fee: €500 per artwork (fee + purchase of materials).
Payment: 50% advance after signing, 50% after the festival and clean delivery of the statue.
You choose a statue yourself (or another spot in the festival area) and decorate it without damaging it (no drilling, glue or paint); fully wrapped and vandal-resistant ("hufterproof").
Build-up can be earlier, by 18 September at the latest; take-down end of September / 1 October.
The work must be safe for the public and weatherproof for the whole festival.
You are credited with your work and in publications; we may use photos for promotion.
