Open call: create an artwork for Festival Voor de Vloed 2026
Are you an artist and would you like to participate in the festival? Sign up for the open call and create a work of art that fits the theme “living with water.” Selected works will be featured on the Art Route through downtown Dordrecht and in the festive parade on September 25.
Festival Voor de Vloed is looking for artists to take part in the Kunstroute 2026 (art route). Create a work — an installation, sculpture or other visual work — around the theme of living with water, and see it displayed in the centre of Dordrecht during the festival, from 19 September to 1 October 2026.
What does it involve?
Selected artworks will be placed at remarkable locations in the city centre. After the festive opening route, the works remain in place as the backdrop of the festival.
